Instructions

1. Sift the Matcha

Sift 1 teaspoon of matcha powder into a bowl to remove clumps and help create a smooth drink.

2. Add Hot Water

Heat the water to approximately 80°C. Avoid boiling water, as it may produce a more bitter flavour. Pour 60 ml of hot water over the matcha powder.

3. Whisk Until Frothy

Using a bamboo whisk or milk frother, whisk briskly in a zigzag motion for around 15–20 seconds, until the matcha is smooth and lightly frothy.

4. Make a Matcha Latte (Optional)

For a creamy matcha latte, warm 180 ml of milk and froth if desired. Pour it into your prepared matcha and stir gently.

5. Add Sweetener (Optional)

Add honey or your preferred sweetener to taste.

6. Enjoy Your Matcha

Your matcha is ready to enjoy! Sip and savour its distinctive flavour as part of your daily tea ritual.
